Tubes with higher consuming resistance can be provided by the use of a pre-covered steel strip. The pre-covered steel strip is coated with zinc covering (galvanized) or aluminum covering (aluminized) (see several markings – Galvalume, Zincalume, Aluzinc, Zalutite, and Galfan).
The energy created by the welding region and the subsequent tooling activity to remove the welded blade destroys the outer coating of the welding zone unless the tube's space is taken away. A metal showering shop with material that carries the costs of comparable erosion safety characteristics to a strip precoated is used to reassure this welding damage.
The inline fixing methodology is the sole method that allows the creation of tubes with zinc, aluminum, or Zn/Al coatings to be adjustable.

#3. Safety—Systems using Arc sprays do not use hazardous gas.
